The Recovery and Peacebuilding Assessment (RPBA) is a joint approach of the United Nations, the World Bank, and the European Union to identify and address immediate and medium-term recovery and peacebuilding requirements while laying the foundations for the elaboration of a longer-term recovery and peacebuilding strategy in a country facing conflict or transitioning out of a conflict-related crisis. It serves as a methodology and/or platform for joint analysis and planning, designed to maximize the effectiveness of national and international recovery and peacebuilding efforts.
Before joined to the UNDP, the senior product designer already set the basic structure and components such as site map, navigation, hierarchy, main menus, and specific channel categories. As an intern UI/UX designer, my main responsibility included designing a responsive web service by considering all components and design guide from the UN and the World Bank.
To design complicated elements, firstly, I tried to create several design templates which can be applied to both web and mobile. Especially, I used to utilize three different rectangular types to add title and descriptions with the image. And thereafter, I tried to design the layout for the screen and mobile by applying different design templates. As for the interaction parts, I intended to demonstrate Hover and Click function whether it is clicked or not by using point colors.
